Consultation & Collaboration Services

If interested in collaborating, or wondering if I could provide advice, coaching, mentoring, training, or serve as a speaker for your organization or event, please contact me directly to discuss details.

My thirst for knowledge is fueled by my ability to share that knowledge with others. Over the past decade, I have consulted with large-scale organizations, such as the American Psychological Association (Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity DIV 17 ECP Committee) and the National Latinx Psychological Association (2020 Conference Chair, ECP Rep for Executive Council, Co-Leader for Orgullo LGBTQ SIG), sharing my insights to promote diverse, inclusive, and equitable processes.

I have been an invited speaker/panelist for organizations and events such as Santa Clara’s Q Corner, Los Angeles County Lesbian, Bisexual, and Queer Women’s Health Collaborative, the Latino Mental Health Conference, and Mental Health in the 22nd Century: Addressing Stigma, Discrimination & Trauma Conference.

I also developed curriculum and outlined training plans for a number of formal education courses spanning across both undergraduate and graduate programs, such as Developmental Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Foundations of Family Psychology, Theories of Counseling, and Abnormal Psychology at Texas Woman’s University, Sociocultural Issues in Counseling at Wright Institute of Berkeley, and Clinical Assessment for University of California, Berkeley (Spring 2021).

In addition, I also serve as the Wellness Coordinator for the Multicultural Community Center and bridges Multicultural Resource Center, where I organize and facilitate holistic wellness outreach events, provide diverse clinical services, and collaborate with student leaders of color to develop service programming that centers historically marginalized voices. In sum, my focus is to promote a shift from surviving to thriving.

For consultation services, I possess the experiences and skillsets to effectively and impactfully address issues related to:

cultural issues in counseling, LGBTQ health and wellness, clinical training and supervision, conducting effective psychological assessments for diverse groups, group therapy, holistic wellness, integrative psychotherapy, Latinx health, spiritual wellness and resiliency practices, and neurodiversity in the workplace/academic settings (i.e., AD/HD, autism).

When consulting, I will develop customized materials and toolkits to enable the various stakeholders (educators, clinicians, and/or businesses) to infuse my specialized framework into their own practice.
