Consultation Services

I offer speaking engagements and trainings for organizations and professional audiences.

I have presented as an invited speaker for organizations and events including Santa Clara’s Q Corner, Fielding University, the Los Angeles County Lesbian, Bisexual, and Queer Women’s Health Collaborative, the Latino Mental Health Conference, and Mental Health in the 22nd Century: Addressing Stigma, Discrimination & Trauma Conference.

I also lead trainings for clinical staff, helping teams strengthen the quality of their work with diverse patients. Topics have included neurodiversity-affirming therapy, cultural issues in counseling & assessment, decolonizing therapy, LGBTQ health and wellness, and Latine health.

I’ve developed curriculum and outlined training plans for a number of formal education courses spanning across both undergraduate and graduate programs, such as Developmental Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Foundations of Family Psychology, Theories of Counseling, Abnormal Psychology at Texas Woman’s University, Sociocultural Issues in Counseling at Wright Institute of Berkeley, and Clinical Assessment for University of California, Berkeley (Spring 2021).

I also specialize in facilitating holistic wellness outreach events. In my role as the Program Director of Wellness Initiatives at University of California, Berkeley, I created programming that centers historically marginalized voices to promote a shift from surviving to thriving.

Since 2014, I have collaborated with large-scale organizations, including American Psychological Association (Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity DIV 17 ECP Committee) and the National Latinx Psychological Association (2020 Conference Chair, ECP Rep for Executive Council, Co-Leader for Orgullo LGBTQ SIG), sharing my insights to promote diverse, inclusive, and equitable policies and processes.
